This year Charter Yachts Australia will be adding 10 new yanmar engines to their charter fleet in the whitsundays with the introduction of 4 new Australian built cataramarans and 2 American Built Yachts

These new vessels will consist of two Lightwave 38s (custom built for charter) , a Seawind 1160 and Seawind 1250 (first in charter in Australia), along with two 375 Catalina yachts.

Not only does Charter Yachts Australia have the largest fleet of Australian built catamarans in charter, but they are also proud of the fact that 92% of these vessels are powered by Yanmar Engines.

Charter Yachts Australia's Managing Director, John Mol has always believed that the perfect formula is to have Yanmar engines on the majority of their boats due to their reliability , ease of servicing and access to parts. This has all been possible with Yanmar's worldwide reputation and support of the local Yanmar dealer All Marine Services, also based at the Abel Point Marina in Airlie Beach.

This growth has been greatly assisted by the recent introduction of the Investment Stimulus Package supporting the expansion of small buisinesses providing employment to Australians.
